Who We Are

Wanderra ("we", "us", "our") is a travel bucket list app developed by Wanderra LLC. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use the Wanderra iOS app and wanderra.io.

Information We Collect

Information you provide:

• Email address (used for account creation and login)
• Username and profile photo (optional)
• Home city, state/province, and country (optional)
• Destination names, locations, activity types, notes, and links you add to your bucket list

Information collected automatically:

• Subscription and purchase status (via RevenueCat and Apple)
• Device type and iOS version (via Apple's standard app analytics)
• Server-side account and sync data for Wanderer features when enabled

We do not collect your precise location, contacts, photos from your camera roll, or any data unrelated to the app's core functionality.

How We Use Your Information

• To provide and operate the Wanderra app
• To store free-tier data in iCloud or locally on your device
• To provide server-backed Wanderer features like trips and destination recommendations
• To manage your subscription and process payments through Apple
• To respond to support requests
• To improve the app experience

We do not sell your data. We do not use your data for advertising.

Third-Party Services

Wanderra uses the following third-party services:

Wanderra Servers — paid Wanderer features such as trips and destination recommendations use Wanderra-managed server storage to keep that data secure and available when needed.

RevenueCat — subscription management. RevenueCat processes subscription status and purchase history. See their privacy policy at revenuecat.com/privacy.

Apple App Store — all payments are processed by Apple. We never see or store your payment information.

Data Retention

Free-tier data stored in iCloud or locally remains under your Apple account or on your device. Wanderer server data is stored for as long as your account is active. You may delete your account at any time from the Profile tab in the app. Deleting your account permanently removes all Wanderra-hosted data from our systems.

Data Security

Your data is transmitted over encrypted HTTPS connections and stored securely either in iCloud, locally on your device, or on Wanderra servers depending on the features you use. We take reasonable measures to protect your information, though no system is 100% secure.

Children's Privacy

Wanderra is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us.

Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. To exercise these rights, contact us at krao@wanderra.io or use the Delete Account feature in the app.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify users of significant changes via the app or email. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance.
